Your Security

Communication between our systems and your computer uses the latest technology which ensures that you communicate with us - and only us - when you sign on to Internet Banking.

The security of our customer's personal information is a major priority to us.

Our internet security system uses many security procedures, including a customer number and a passnumber (that we assign to you), and an additional password chosen from three items of memorable data that you give to us at the time of registration. Each of these is validated at each stage to ensure the highest level of security.

The system also uses the latest encryption technology which scrambles your Internet Banking data into numbers and letters that are unrecognisable to anyone else who might try to gain access to your accounts.

Rest assured that this combination of procedures means that our system offers all the security needed to keep all of your information safe and secure.

When you send your Passnumber, Customer Number and Memorable Data to us, the encryption process scrambles the information. When our computers receive this scrambled data, they unscramble it so that it is recognisable to us and you can then access your accounts.
