Paying money into a US dollar account
by sterling cheque drawn on a UK based bank
- Cheques or drafts should be made payable to the account holder(s)
or Nationwide International Ltd. Please note we are unable to accept
cheques made payable to a third party and for security reasons, we're
unable to accept travellers cheques or cash by post
- When sending a cheque or draft please quote your name and account
number
- Sterling cheques drawn on a UK based bank will be converted to US
dollars at the prevailing exchange rate, start to earn interest and
be available for withdrawal on the 10th working day following receipt
- Sterling cheques issued by Nationwide Building Society (excluding
personal cheques drawn on a Nationwide Building Society FlexAccount),
will be converted to US dollars at the prevailing exchange rate and
will be available for withdrawal on the day of receipt. These cheques
start to earn interest on the following day
- These is no minimum amount for cheques drawn in sterling on a UK
bank account
