Paying Euros into a Nationwide International account by Direct Electronic Transfer (Telegraphic Transfer) from a bank outside the UK

You can send Euros from a bank outside the UK by asking the remitting bank to send the payment by SWIFT quoting the following details:

** Your International Bank Account Number (IBAN) can be found on your statement, online via our secure banking facility or by calling us on +44 (0) 1624 696000.

When transferring funds to Nationwide International from a bank outside of the UK, it is essential that you provide our SWIFT code and, if the payment comes from within Europe, it must include your International Bank Account Number (IBAN). If you don't provide our SWIFT BIC and your IBAN (when applicable), your payment might be delayed, subject to additional charges or even rejected. Our SWIFT BIC details can be found in the table above.

Funds received by direct electronic transfer before 11.00 am on a working day will start to earn interest immediately. Funds received after 11.00 am start earning interest on the next working day following receipt.
