THESE DETAILS REFER TO EURO ACCOUNTS ONLY Paying money into a euro account by Direct Electronic Transfer (Telegraphic Transfer) from a bank outside the UK You can send money in any currency from a bank outside the UK by asking the remitting bank to send the payment by SWIFT quoting the following details:
When transferring funds to Nationwide International from a bank outside of the UK, it is essential that you provide our SWIFT code and, if the payment comes from within Europe, it must include our International Bank Account Number (IBAN). If you don't provide our SWIFT and IBAN (when applicable), your payment might be delayed, subject to additional charges or even rejected. Our Euro IBAN and SWIFT codes can be found in the table above. For funds received by direct electronic transfer, if we are advised on the day of receipt and the payment is received before 10.00 (GMT) your funds will start to earn interest immediately. Funds received after 10.00 start earning interest on the next working day following receipt.
