THESE DETAILS REFER TO STERLING ACCOUNTS ONLY Paying money into a sterling account by Direct Electronic Transfer (Telegraphic Transfer) from a bank outside the UK You can send money in any currency from a bank outside the UK by asking the remitting bank to send the payment by SWIFT quoting the following details:
When transferring funds to Nationwide International from a bank outside of the UK, it is essential that you provide our SWIFT code and, if the payment comes from within Europe, it must include our International Bank Account Number (IBAN). If you don’t provide our SWIFT and IBAN (when applicable), your payment might be delayed, subject to additional charges or even rejected. Our Sterling IBAN and SWIFT codes can be found in the table above. Funds received from a bank outside the UK will start to earn interest on the next working day following receipt.
