Taking money out of a sterling account by sterling, US dollar or euro cheque
- There is no charge for withdrawals by cheque drawn in sterling, US dollar or euro on our UK bank account
- You may have your cheque withdrawal sent to your correspondence address, a bank or a third party
- With US dollar or euro cheques, the amount debited to your account will be converted to sterling at the prevailing exchange rate on the day of the withdrawal
- As our cheques are drawn on a UK based bank, if they are paid into
a bank account outside the UK, it may take up to 8 weeks to clear
and also be subject to charges
Please note, for telebanking transactions,
bank and third party details must be designated in advance.
If you set up a new designated account, we may require it to be held in the account holders name and may refuse to set up a designated account in any other name. We may restrict or refuse any third party transaction.
